What if I encounter a monitor lizard in Thailand on a path? Does it usually attack right away or can it be driven away somehow? And if you bite after all, then what to do before you go to the doctor? Are their bites poisonous?

He fears you more than you fear him. Don't attack him, he won't attack himself.

If it so happened that he still herded (extremely unlikely, but still) - immediately to the doctor, although they are not poisonous, but in their saliva they have a lot of everything that should not be allowed into the body. A type of tetanus stick.
