Good beaches on the island, as for me 3: Naiharn The rest in the South are Sochi, especially Kata, Karon and Patong. A bunch of people and a murky sea. In the north, I would recommend paying attention to Surin. And maybe Bangtao, but I was there a couple of times and was surprised by wild boars on the beach)) I did not come again))

Patong is the worst place for a beach holiday and even more so for a family: dirt, noise, brown sea, trance td tp))
