I wrote to a friend, but for 15 days: Food: on kate-karon you can find Thai cafes where you can eat for 150-250 baht per person, and so usually more expensive.. I eat the same thing in my area for 60-80 baht but I do not live in a tourist area, so to eat a day will go about 450 * 2 = 900 baht for two * 10 days = 9000 baht If you rent a bike (and it is better to take a tc taxi on the island is expensive), it will be about 250 baht * 10 = 2500 baht Excursions to the islands (and you better visit a couple at least) an average of 2700 baht per person * 4 = 10 800 baht Beer costs 45 baht per bottle * 7 = 315 baht drink beer in the evening per person * 15 (if you drink almost every evening) 4750 baht + all sorts of creams, mats souvenirs and all sorts of everyday trifles 300 baht per day * 10 = 3000 baht TOTAL: 30 000 baht is about 950 $ BUT it is not taken into account that sometimes you can eat in the resttic this +1000-2000 Sometimes you can go to the club, there beer for 200 baht for 0.3 Sometimes you can not pivas jam but yageres, it is here about 1000 for 0.7 and so on. I easily dropped 4000 baht just for an evening for two to hang out on patong.
