Flew only charters. I always took baskets to the salon. Usually 2 by 5 kg. I saw how they carried and 10 kg. I also saw how once with such large ones they did not let in. Forced to pour into bags. Then the man calmly walked aboard. You can check with the carrier. I kind of did that.

I always carry in my suitcase so that I don't have to risk it at customs.
