In the north, ski, look at the beaches, planes, hotels-abandonments, drive the bridge to the lodders, there you can jump into the water from it, the fun of local boys. You can even get to the observation rooms, to the temple of hell, to Krabi, but it depends on your interests, capabilities, etc.
