Are there any problems with renting a car in Pattaya-Bangok and is it an adequate idea at all?Can I take a car here (Pattaya, Bangkok) and rent it in Phuket? Are there such annuities?

The car can be picked up there and handed over here. Usually the surcharge for this is in the region of 3-5 thousand baht. Well, rent from large offices such as avis or hertz. As for adequacy, the question is debatable. In general, all tourist activities are concentrated around Pattaya and Phuket (Krabi). And the rest is just a road. It may make sense to take a car for a ride around Bangkok and Pattaya, and then hand it over and get to Phuket by plane (bus). And then rent a car and drive. Usually they go by car when there are problems with planes / buses - you need to transport a pet. Or when there are so many passengers and/or luggage that it is cheaper to transport by car.
