Today was the same question, and it is best to find in advance a transfer to the hotel or a Russian taxi driver who will stop at the airport. Local bombs don't have enough cars and they offer bigger cars for 1600 baht.

You can go outside the airport, and there call through the indriver application. You will save 400-500 baht.
