And why do many choose Bali as an alternative? Does it make sense to consider this location until December, for example, and then return to Phuket?

Not an alternative at all! I used to think of Phuket as a village until I lived in Bali... Phuket van love, definitely! There is no such thing as good internet in Bali...

There is just not a season in winter. And you can forget about the good beaches in Bali.. As well as about a well-developed road network.
