And what is the problem with making a visa? Thereby reducing the risks and freeing yourself up a couple of days.

Yes, really. There is someone who manages to ride 5 times in a row, being in the country for almost half a year, although these are rather exceptional lucky but 2-3 times, yes with a group across the ground border, no problem.
