There are ATMs almost everywhere – every 7/11 or FamilyMart has one or two. I recommend not to shove the card into ATMs located in popular tourist places - there are regular reports in the news about another caught gang of carders. Resort island, where to go. Cash withdrawal limits (per transaction): Krungsri Bank (yellow) – 30.000฿ Other banks – 20.000฿ Only Thai baht can be withdrawn from an ATM. OTHER currencies are not issued by ATMs. If you need to withdraw more at a time, you need to contact a bank branch. In any less large shopping center there are branches of at least two banks. If you need a bank branch, it is worth considering that the branches work until 5-6 pm.
