There was a case, personally not impressed. But the weather was not ice.. maybe on this.

Yesterday I was there. If you are talking about the province of Khao Lak and the beach of the same name. A couple of hours of travel from Phuket. There's an almost empty, sandy long beach. Basically cute. But it's like, in a retired way, everything around. Be quiet. Well, go find the exit to the beach, everything is occupied by resort fences.
