Someone recently wrote how I went, like you, to Phuket for 10 days and his appendicitis became inflamed and had to have surgery. The operation cost a little more than $ 11k. Well, then decide for yourself what is more convenient for you: now spend time and money on insurance or then pay several thousand dollars for medical services.
