You can get an international driver's license at any service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 5 days from the date of providing a full package of necessary documents: • driver's license (original); • civil and foreign passport; • photo 3.5x4.5 cm. International driver's license is issued for 3 years and is valid abroad only in combination with Ukrainian licenses. At the same time, to obtain a European driver's license, you do not need to pass traffic tests and pass driving.

They or your Ukrainian rights want to see or blue book - blue book, document on the car. If you rent, you must have a lease contract, a copy of the blue book is attached to the contract.

In any service center, costs 400-600 UAH (the price has recently changed). But here you can safely drive on a plastic license. If you often travel and plan then Bali (Indonesia), Vietnam, Singapore - then make international. They are also rented on Ukrainian rights if there is a category.

International rights look like a book, go as an appendix to national rights. For 260 hryvnias are made in Ukraine in a few days, you do not need to hand over anything.

Let them demand. Talk about the Vienna Convention. They want international rights. It's a white book. Get to the traffic police.
