If you have a long visa, it is better to open it in several banks. Bangkok, Ayudhya, Kasikorn. The most common. For example, during covid, I did not use the Kasikorn card for a year, they closed the account without even specifically notifying, then it was not possible to restore it (I had to open a new one). And in Bangkok, the bank worked and works without problems. In general, there is not much difference, the banking system works quite well.
