Please tell me at the airport in Thailand or are there exchangers nearby? How unprofitable is it to change there?

At the airport there are official exchangers from banks (SCB and Kbank, it seems). The courses there are official from these banks. Of course, on the island you can find private exchangers with more favorable rates, but if we are talking about $ 100-200, then there will be a difference of literally 20-40 baht. I don't know how long they work. Dollars at the hotel may not be taken as collateral. It depends on which hotel.

Change $ 100, leave a deposit in $ at the hotel. In the afternoon, according to the norms, you will change the exchange rate and pay for the hotel with baht.

If possible, it is more profitable to withdraw from an ATM.
