Hello! It is better to go with $. Union Pay doesn't always work in stores. And when withdrawing from ATMs, there will be a commission.

When withdrawing from an ATM, the commission seems to be 200 baht, no matter what amount is withdrawn. Cards do not pass in all stores and not everywhere: for example, we have Gazprom and Tinek calmly pass at 7-11, but in the apartments I had to pay in cash, the cards do not pass. In general, the feeling that they pass mainly where there is no contact, and if you insert a card, they do not work. So you'd better take cash.

You still need cash, buses, makashnits, there is a deposit in a hotel, etc. For this, I changed dollars.

It was June 12-22. I paid with a Tinkoff unionpay card wherever possible. It didn't work once in a small shop. Big c, 7/11, KFC, tesco and others are fine. On the first day I checked: the rate is 2.4, removed at the rate of 2.5. In the application, you can immediately see the write-off in rubles and dates. Batah.
