The law on the registration of foreigners within 24 hours after arriving in Thailand came out in the 1970s - no matter where they stay - in a condo or in a house, in a villa, in a hotel, etc. The term of rent in a condominium depends on the status of the condominium - there are condominiums with a hotel license in them and daily rent is possible, but in ordinary condominiums yes, only from a month.
