I've never been to Thailand. Vacation is only in the summer, and everyone goes there in the winter. A friend offers in August to Phuket for 2 weeks. Makes sense, can anyone tell me?

It all depends on what kind of vacation you want. You can lie on the sand, you can near the basik, take a walk along the shore in the evening, sit in a café. And you can go to the waterfall to swim in the cold water, you can go to Phuket Town to walk along the streets. You can go on an excursion. Not necessarily to the islands. See the sights and plan your vacation.

The weather is normal. The beaches are normal, although sometimes heaps of plastic wash ashore, but more often not than yes. If the priority is to swim better on the east coast, because on the west waves, there are red flags, then there is a reverse current and a real risk of drowning. I really haven't been to the western beaches, they say that there are no waves there and you can swim.

In Thailand, you can relax all year round. It's just that in the summer there is a possibility of rain and, in principle, all the difference.
