An excursion for fans of Thailand who have already traveled around the entire nearest district. In the province of Petchabun on the mountain range of the same name (1500 meters approximately above sea level), separating conditionally Isaan in the east and North in the west. Drive far, 550 km. With an overnight stay. Not cheap, like 3700 baht per person. In a small group, large ones are not recruited. There are no glass bridges and glass mountains there: the glass mountain is the figuratively poetic name of the place. Another Thailand, the real one. But you will see only through the car window. Interesting temples, interesting views in the mountains, a monument to tamarind, other people (lao and black tai), no smiles and wai. Be sure to buy dried tamarind and strawberries - they are the best in the Kingdom. In the morning on the observation deck (it is above the level of the clouds and look at the area from a height through them) it can be cool. Bottom line: interesting, expensive, long, far away, for fans.
