Look, if you received a passport at the embassy, then you, along with it, should have been given a paper that instead of the old one, with such and such numbers, a new one was issued. This is in case you are not flying from Russia. Then this paper can be shown that both of these passports belong to the same person. But the old passport is also needed then, it must be with you. If you received it in Russia and fly from there, you will not even be put on a plane with an old passport, because it is simply not valid. On the hotline or in support, they usually change this data without problems, even without surcharges. It's definitely better not to take risks and change.

Yes, but you will have a TM-30 form, these are white sheets with blue markings, you will need to fill out a new passport.

About five years ago, this was the case with my children's passports. Then it was impossible, most likely nothing has changed. You need to go to the reservation, and change the data. Or contact AK and change by phone / mail.
