I used to withdraw cash from ATMs and to pay in some stores so as not to waste cash. When withdrawing from an ATM, a fixed commission of 220 baht is taken, so it is better to withdraw more at once (I withdrew 30,000 baht each). The card was tied to a dollar account by Tinkoff in order to avoid double conversion, first from rubles to dollars, and then from dollars to baht. On 27.04.23 the conversion was 33.88 baht per 1 dollar for example.
