International ones are needed, without them a fine.

IDPs are needed, without them a 2000 baht fine each stop. When moving from beach to beach, there are constant patrols and mopeds with whites all over the island, this is something that will be stopped without fail.

They stop very often if you drive constantly and between the beaches. If there is an IDP, then yes, an IDP is needed for it. And the right categories, of course.
