My eyesight has deteriorated like tin. Is it possible to visit an ophthalmologist to understand what the minus is and buy glasses. Where to go, who to contact and how much is it paid? It is unlikely that insurance covers this.

As I understand it, vision is checked here in any optics, free of charge. Top chareon seems like a good grid, but I haven't been there yet.

Or you can just come to the optics store and they will check everything and write out glasses.
