The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed that IQOS (Electronic Tobacco Heating System) is considered a type of electronic cigarette in Thailand and is prohibited in this country for use, storage, transportation and resale. The violator faces a fine of up to $30,000 or imprisonment for up to 10 years.
