It works. But if you get stuck somewhere in an ATM (if you withdraw cash), there will be problems. As for the rest, it's everywhere. Even in Starbucks. Will not work in Super Chip. At 7/11, some people get stupid and forget to put a unionpay - then you just have to spend 2-3 times.
