Phuket Mining Museum, Thalang National Museum We went to these places. Small, children are interested. The first one also has an area with a lake - you can take a walk.

I don't know if it's private or public: small historical museums Thalang national museum, Thavorn museum, Peranakan, Mining museum. You can see them all in half a day. Whether it's worth it is very subjective.
