Are there any recommendations for the first visit to Phuket? What do you need to know or take with you?

At the airport, change the minimum money - for a taxi, look for the rest in your area for a favorable rate. I would recommend bringing 50% sun protection if you are with luggage. In Phuket, I thought they were more expensive. From the airport, you can even take a bus to your beach for 100 baht (depending, of course, where you live) There are also buses between the beaches and to the old town. Don't bathe with glasses.

Take a taxi using the indrive application. You go to the Phi Islands on your own (take a round-trip transfer from the hotel). Don't be afraid to eat in the markets. Bring a long-sleeved linen shirt if you have one.

Bargain, don't buy from the first seller you come across. Smear yourself with sunblock more often, especially by the sea, otherwise you will burn.
