Please tell me about alcohol. Does it make sense to buy alcohol in duty and take it with you? Or can you buy a normal one on the spot in Phuket?

A lot of different alcohol is sold in stores, local whiskey is quite decent, there is also brandy for export. You will always find vodka, wine and gin.

I stopped at Sang Som rum, there is a flask of 250 costs 139 baht or a liter like 468 baht. I didn't like the local whiskey and brandy. All for an amateur. Chang beer, again for an amateur.
