They don't slow down on a car, they rarely slow down on bikes now. But in general, the car always wins in comfort, and especially over long distances (it's comfortable to sit and if the rain doesn't get wet).

You 99% will be stopped if you drive everywhere all the time. On Koh Samui, you probably get faster than here. If you don't leave tomorrow.
