Who traveled from Koh Samui to Bangkok by bus from the bus station? How excruciating is it, all day on the bus, or is it better not to save the plane as well?

I drove absolutely normally. Although I'm a lover of comfort, the Internet catches, so you watch a movie, etc., you read.

I traveled from Bangkok to Koh Samui by bus + catamaran .. It's quite normal, the bus is at night, it's a long ride, 1 stop for a snack.

I went 10 years ago. It's cold, the condo works for all the money, if it weren't for winter clothes. Stops are frequent, in places where you can immediately feel the charm of Thai food. In general, it's boring, because apart from the road, you can't see anything through the windows.

If you can sleep in narrow chairs or want to feel that you are participating in adventures, then the bus is quite fun. Once is definitely worth it. And then decide seven. Quite convenient, the roads are wide - these are not old grooves or small Chinese minibuses. Give yourself a TV series and you will be in Bangkok much faster than you notice. Or if you have a phone, then sit on the telegram and vice versa, it will be so much fun that you decide not to get off the bus at all.

And what prevents you from swimming to Pattaya immediately from Koh Samui, and there are 1-2 hours to Bangkok on whatever you want. If I'm not mistaken, ferries to Pattaya have been launched recently.
