500 baht fine for overstay for one day. If you do not plan to get visas to America, Europe and other similar countries, then one day of overstay is not scary. In other cases, they may refuse due to a violation of visa-free stay in the country.

My opinion: 1) you can stay in the transit zone, do not pass the control, but get ready for the fact that your suitcase will be taken to lost things (or, if you are not lucky with everything, they will steal it, although this is purely my imagination) 2) pay a fine of 500 baht for 1 day of overstay on June 28 (not very critical, but not good) 3) last for 7 days in an imigrashka for 1900 baht.
