You need a legal address, with registration, proof of income (800 thousand baht in the account, OR an affidavit for a retirement visa, which you can get at the consulate). Then you go to a third country with these documents, sell a visa for a penny. After TWO months, you get an affidavit again, and apply for a visa extension to the immigration service. That's it.

The easiest visa. You need 800 thousand in your account and that's it. They will give it first for 3 months, then for 12.
