There's just the terminus of the local songthaew buses on Kata Beach. Buses run on the route Kata - Phuket Town (to Ranong Rd.). The cost is 40 baht per person. There is no schedule, departure as full, or every 20 minutes starting at 6 am. It drives slowly, you can get off anywhere, the main thing is to ask the driver.
