I see they mostly write about Patong, Karon, Kata. And someone rested on Khao Lak. What are your impressions? Is it very tiring to drive in that direction from the airport?

We were 5 years ago. It was not tiring for us to go, but we did not start immediately after the flight. On a minibus with a condo for an hour or 1.5. It takes the same amount to go to Rawai in Phuket. There are a lot of Europeans, especially Germans, so all the food is sharpened for them - assorted sausages, sausages, in a café prices are 20-30% more expensive from Phuket. We liked it. It's calm, clean, but +/- all the beaches are the same, in Phuket the picture is somehow brighter and more diverse.

It takes an hour to drive, there are no people, some (this is about the number) Europeans, mostly aged. Infrastructure... no) Probably on the road if you leave will be normal. A couple of cafes and shops near the hotel, well, massage, where without them. The atmosphere is calm and no one makes noise. That's what I flew here for. We lived on Bang Tao, Mai Kao, now here. It's not the first time in Thailand, it's the first time I've been on Kar Lak.
