Is there a rainy season in Koh Samui? What's the weather like in the summer? Clean ocean? We are considering a holiday on Koh Samui with two children in the summer. Can I come for the whole summer or will I have to fly out/arrive?

Summer is the best time in Koh Samui. The weather is good, the sea is clean, there are no waves. There may be more rain in June. This is from experience - no one will predict exactly the weather to you, from year to year it is changeable. It is important to choose the right beach in the summer on many beaches of Koh Samui shallow. For me, the win-win option is the south of Lamai. If you want for the whole summer, you need to get a tourist visa at your place of residence. On a visa, entry for 60 days + can be extended for another 30 in immigration to Koh Samui for 1900 baht. Visa-free entry only for 30 days from April 1.
