We had a flight at 22:30, we arrived 3 hours in advance, for check-in, passport, it took about an hour.

Once in a while, you don't have to. We departed on March 7 by regular Aeroflot at 12: 10, arrived at 9: 00 - an empty airport, at 9: 30 we were already in duty. We checked in for a day, but still stood in line all together for baggage drop-off.
