We buy a regular sim dtac for 49 baht in 7/11. If the first store did not sell, saying that they are only for locals - we go to the next 7/11 and buy there. To buy you only need a passport. - put on the purchased phone number 300 baht. - then you can either select the necessary Internet and call packages in the application, or try to activate the package through the command *104*285#. The team connects the tariff: unlimited Internet for a month at a speed of 20Mbps for 200 baht. After entering the command, the package should connect, 200 baht should be written off from the balance. Such a tariff is not visible in the application, but the team must pass. If you need an eSIM, with a passport and a purchased SIM go to the dtac office (in the Cental Pattaya shopping center). There, the operator is told that it is necessary to replace sim with esim. All together takes about 5 minutes, the operator finds the data on the passport, prepares a form with a qr code and activates the esim with the same phone number that was on the regular sim. All previously connected packages remain unchanged.
