A couple of days ago we were in Phuket Nature Elephant Reserve. We paid 200 baht for a basket of bananas. There are 3 elephants in total and the café is not bad. Elephants can be fed, watered from a hose and walked with them - there are programs for 3 or 4 hours with all this from 1500 bat. But we only wanted to feed and touch the trunk))

In good elephant retreat centers, it is not the entrance that is paid, but special packages, for example, to feed an elephant or wash it Costs from a couple of thousand Baht usually. In places where elephants are ridden, you can usually feed them bananas for ~50 Baht, but to support such a business. doubtful.

Usually admission is free, you pay for food for elephants or for riding an elephant.
