is it difficult to get from Patong to phi-phi by bike? I read many recommendations to take a tour for 1-2 days. Can't I go there myself and if you want to stay overnight wherever you like?

1. More expensive and faster - speedboat. 2. Cheaper and slower - by ferry. Ferries depart from Rassada Pier in Phuket Town. Tickets can be bought online (with and without transfer), in tents with excursions anywhere on the island (700-1000฿), or right on the spot (on the spot more expensive, for some reason - 1000฿). The cheapest ticket option is to drive to Phuket Town, and find some sort of Chinese tour. tent, they say and for 600 baht you can find round-trip tickets with an open date (but no transfer).
