And if you go and spend the night on Khao Tao, then there is an opportunity to take a snorkeling tour, which is normal in duration? Where?

There are popular snorkeling tours from several agencies, sold at every turn. 600 baht approximately costs, the program is the same, the entrance to Nang Yuan plus 250 baht (this is a national park). Plus or minus these big companies are the same. Oxygen, Diamond the most massive seemed, WeTtavel a little less filled in appearance. The stops are all the same. I understand that there are other companies with smaller ships (we saw them in the bay), but we were not even offered this And in principle you still sail all day, and so it does not really matter what to sail on. Snorkel tours here for the whole day, on Nang Yuan 2 hours are allotted. Calculate the time, because with one night you may not have time. Ships from here sail early enough. And arrival is often during the day. If you do not have time for a snorkeling tour, you can just go to Thanot yourself, take a mask there and snorkel (by the way it is not in the tours), there is generally the best snorkeling on the island. And also separately take a trip to Nang Yuang (from 9 to 16 taxi boats ply) The only thing you may not see the turtle, but in general the most beautiful reef exactly on Thanote for us. It's still beautiful on Freedom Beach for corals and marine life.

Tours to Koh Tao - in any travel agency, of which there are plenty every 200 meters. You can ask at the hotel directly at the reception. It is best to go for the first time on one day trip - whether you need it or not. On Koh Tao itself - in general, there is nothing much to do - the island is small, there is almost one civilized coast, the rest of the beaches are semi-wild. Well, there are like a couple of hotels and two cafes. And everything closes at 9 p.m. So it's better for the first time to just go there on a speedboat tour, dive-see-come back and decide whether you need it there for a long time or not.
