There is a law in Thailand – you cannot take a charter flight without special permission if you have entered the country on a regular basis. If you flew by charter, then without permission you can fly only by charter of the same airline or any regular (non-charter) flight of any airline. Airlines refer to the letter of the Department of Civil Aviation of Thailand to UTair. Can: Charter – Regular Charter – Charter (same AK) Not allowed: Regular – Charter Charter – Charter (different CAs) How to get permission: A person contacts an agent or airline, depending on who purchased the ticket from. If to the agent, then the agent makes a request to the airline, and it in turn makes a request to the DCA. If a ticket was purchased from the airline, then the request is with the airline, and that is in the DCA.
