Not in Patong. Not in the east. And so it's a matter of taste, you will not understand until you yourself have visited each part. BangTao is a favorite area of Russians, but expensive. Kamala is cheaper. Kata Karon is calmer. Rawai and Nai Harn are also loved by the Russians, the south of the island.
