They wanted to do a border run, but they mixed up the dates and eventually overstayed the visa by 1 day. What to do in this case? Will it be possible to extend the visa and pay a fine at the migration center, and then make a border run? Or what to do in such a situation?

I went to the bordererrand a little over a week ago,, the guy with an overstay a month was - not a problem at all, paid for the overstay and then, not the full cost, put the usual stamp and ok.
