The resident received a certificate in Koh Samui. I booked a hotel there because they register foreigners themselves. I went to the reception desk at the hotel and said that I needed a tm30 form for the immigration office. On the phone on some website, they showed me a list in which my data was. I took a picture on my phone. Next, at the immigration office, it was necessary to take a photo (one is enough) and print out a list in which my name and data (I sent them by email). I paid 120 baht. You need to know the address of your hotel. I gave the documents, you can pick them up the next day. But since I got into the holidays, I picked it up after 6 days. It's all free. Filed on October 12. I don't know how to go through this procedure with rented houses, I probably ask the landlord to register. You can check into the hotel for at least one day and get this form. You cannot open an account without a resident certificate.

I did the certificate on Phangan in the immigration office. You need it to open an account. Here it costs 1500 baht + 200 for a photo.
