When entering Thailand, there must be a ticket from the country on the dates corresponding to your visa (or visa stamp). That is, if you fly in under a visa-free stamp for 30 days (from 01.10.2022 to 31.03.2023 - 45 days), then the return flight should be within the next month. The ticket does not have to be "return". It can be any international flight. Even to Malaysia, even to Singapore. This ticket can be requested by a border guard at the airport in Thailand. Or maybe not ask.
