[Pattaya] On January 14, I went to Cambodia for a visa, and only accidentally found out that after the visa, I had to re-register in the apartment. Is it worth going to immigration? Write to the landlord? - Thailand

If you decide, they say there is a fine if you register later than in the first two days. I registered twice a few days late and there was no fine.

If you don't need a resident certificate (you need it to open an account, get rights), then you don't have to register. They don't check it anywhere. In theory, you can be stopped by a policeman, check the registration, but I have not heard from people that someone was checked like this.

We registered for the first time in October, then went to the border run in Cambodia. Then we flew to Malaysia and no one said anything, but it's Border!

You can still ask to make a new contract

There are two ways either to go to register and maybe they will take a fine , maybe not, everyone has different ways, or after the next Border is equal to do. If you have a ras visa for exactly 3 months, then it's probably better to do it.
