How important is the inclusion of Dengue fever in insurance? How are things on Patong and Karon? Is there a high probability of catching it?

I saw a woman in the hospital from Patong with Dengue, but if you look at wikipedia for the alleged treatment, then the hospital is not needed in a mild case, and in a severe case it will be very expensive. what is the probability of being ill with a severe form? but if this happens, the insurance will pay for itself many times.
