In February, the arrival of my daughter, a minor, with her grandmother (my mother) daughter from her ex-wife is planned. She will make a notarized power of attorney. To leave the Russian Federation, it is enough from one of the parents. Do I need my power of attorney to enter Thailand?

In general, the Thai side has never looked at this bundle of papers called permits, etc. As in Laos and Malaysia. And they never asked who was whose son, mother or grandmother. But we have the same surnames in our passports, maybe it mattered.

Nothing is needed in Thailand. The consent of one of the parents is enough to leave Russia.
