Flew in through the bcc at the end of January, put a stamp for 45 days and that's it, they didn't ask for anything, they didn't ask for anything.

The rule of having a return ticket exists. the issue of verification is random. even the airline at the departure airport can ask you for a return ticket and refuse to register without it.
