Getting a Bangkok Bank card to a non-resident: Step 1: get a form from your landlord of the house/hotel confirming your registration at the place of stay. This form is required to obtain a resident certificate in Immigration. Step 2: with a printout / photo of the certificate from step 1, a photo and a passport, we go to the Immigration, there we ask you to issue a resident certificate to receive a bank card (you can ask for 2 pcs at once if you plan to do more rights). They should be issued within 3 days, but more often they will be issued earlier. According to some reports, for 500 baht you can do a day in a day (which is most often used). Step 3: with a resident certificate, we go to a Bangkok bank (a branch in Naton is preferable, because insurance is cheaper in it, without which the bank card is not opened in 99% of cases). We open an account, issue a card. You can immediately get an unnamed mastercard and UP, nominal ones will have to wait a couple of weeks.
